Jurassic Giants

Among the most notable giants were the massive sauropods, such as Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus, whose long necks and enormous bodies allowed them to reach treetops and consume vast quantities of plant material. These giants, some growing up to 100 feet in length, were herbivores that roamed the lush, green landscapes of the Mesozoic era.

At the same time, fearsome carnivores like Allosaurus dominated the food chain. With sharp teeth and powerful jaws, these predators could take down large prey. The Jurassic period also saw the evolution of flying reptiles like Pteranodons, and the first birds began to take flight, marking the dawn of a new era in animal evolution.
